"Since there are no managers that came with me for the filming, I had to manage all the schedules myself. When should I start work, when am I off...since it's an experience that I've never had, it was quite something. There are lots of CGs, so how will the movie turn out is something even myself is looking forward to."
"Since I was focusing purely on the filming of the movie, I couldn't work on the songs at that time. I didn't expect my audition to get picked so the music schedule had to be re-adjusted. So, it's like I've finally started. The collab with Jason is really something new. It's really interesting to work with an oversea artist, and it's interesting to sing something written by other people. How is the song? ...let's just say it's 'powerful!' (laugh)"
In LA, "Other than the working time, I meet with my friends, do chores, go to the bank. Like I'm living a normal life. But I'll still put more energy into activities in Japan from now on.".
Akanishi Jin's birthday is the independence day of America. "Everyone's busy celebrating the holiday and no one paid attention to me, I was kinda lonely (laugh)"
"I know there's no way to reach #1 right from the beginning, rather than caring too much about the result, I want to build on my experiences little by little. Receiving help from the people around me, I want to steadily carry onto my path. I felt really helped by the audiences that came out to last year's America tour to which they danced so much to, I myself was really happy as well. Anyways, since I'll forever love western music purely, just creating the music makes me happy. Making the music is enjoyable, the moment when I'm done a song is also enjoyable. Being able to publish that enjoyableness somewhere, is the happiness I feel everyday."
