JYPE releases rehearsal photos of the Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, miss A, & JJ Project for upcoming ‘JYP Nation’ concert

There are just two days to go until the JYP Nation concert kicks off, and its artists are busy at work in the rehearsal room completing their finishing touches.

JYP Entertainment shared a slew of behind-the-scenes photos of the artists hard at work with allkpop to give fans a glimpse into the family-like atmosphere. Included are cuts of the members working together for their collaboration stages, such as Sohee playing around with Junsu, and Junho and Seulong taking a break in a corner of the room together.

Junho showed a playful side by taking a photo with Sun‘s puppy while J.Y. Park can be seen working on new songs at the keyboard at any spare moment. JJ Project looks as if they’re flying about the room during their rehearsal cuts with the same youthful energy they’re known for on stage.

The pictures only serve to heighten the anticipation for their upcoming concert!

JYP Entertainment expressed, “All of the JYP artists are working hard with one heart with just days left until the concert. There are a lot more of various stages planned compared to last year, so we encourage everyone to anticipate it.”

The JYP Nation concert will take place on August 4th at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium.

JJ Project interviews fellow labelmates on their upcoming ‘JYP NATION’ performance

Jr. and JB of JJ Project have stepped up as reporters for a day to interview their fellow label mates on their upcoming ‘JYP NATION‘ performance.

The boys took some time out to host a segment on Mnet Wide News and speak with the members of 2PM, Wonder Girls, and miss A, along with solo artists San E and JOO.

During the interview, the label mates built more anticipation for their upcoming performance, hinting that it will be chock full of entertainment.

The event will reportedly include a collaboration stage by all the ladies of JYP, solo performances by Wooyoung and Jo Kwon, and the artists will also be performing one another’s choreography.

The JYP Entertainment artists are known to have a close-knit bond, and they remarked that rehearsing for this concert was a good opportunity for all of them to spend some quality time together.

This JYP NATION performance will be all the more meaningful, as rookie duo JJ Project will also be participating as part of the JYP family.

The show takes place at Olympic Park’s Gymnastics Stadium August 4th!

2PM expresses disappointment about Nichkhun’s absence at ‘JYP Nation’

2PM expressed their feelings about member Nichkhun‘s absence at the ‘JYP Nation‘ concert held at Seoul’s Olympic Park on the 4th.

The group stated on stage, “All six of us were supposed to be on stage together, and we’re disappointed it couldn’t be that way.”

Wooyoung then stated to fans, “But thank you so much for cheering us on without change despite that. I think the way to repay you all is to put on better performances. We’ll work hard.”

JYP Entertainment told OSEN the same day, “Nichkhun did not come to the concert today. He’ll be quietly [staying to himself] for a while.”

In related news, the ‘JYP Nation’ tour will be moving onto Japan on August 18-19.

JYP Nation successfully concludes concert in Seoul

JYP Nation‘s ‘2012 JYP Nation in Korea‘ concert at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium ended in great success on August 4th.

Featuring artists J.Y. Park, Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, miss A, JOO, San E, and JJ Project, the three-hour long concert attracted approximately 10,000 fans to the stadium.

The concert was kicked off by miss A as they performed a series of their past hits, and Wonder Girls soon took the stage and delivered more powerful live performances. Joined by miss A, the five ladies danced along to their hit track “Like This” and later provided a solid performance of their latest single “Like Money“.

Rookie duo JJ Project and San E continued the concert and further heated the atmosphere with their lively hip hop tracks. Following the two were ballad group 2AM, capturing the hearts of fans with their beautiful harmonization, and 2PM with their perfect stage manner and charisma.

The highlight of the concert was definitely the solos and the collaborations. J.Y. Park, Changmin, Junho, and Taecyeon performed their rendition of Wonder Girls’ “Be My Baby“. Chansung, Wooyoung, Seulong, and JB then brought much laughter to fans by taking the stage and singing to “Bad Boy, Good Boy“.

JYP Entertainment expressed, “The JYPE artists have prepared and worked hard in order to spend the hot summer with fans. We’re thankful that many enjoyed the concert and the artists also had a great time. We would like to thank everyone for their love and support.”

In related news, the ‘JYP Nation’ tour will be moving onto Japan this coming 18th and 19th.

Suzy supports Wooyoung’s last performance of “Sexy Lady”

miss A‘s Suzy supported 2PM‘s Wooyoung at the last performance of his solo debut song “Sexy Lady“.

On August 5th, Suzy shared the photo above and tweeted, “I was filming nearby and went to support Wooyoung oppa’s last broadcast. ‘Sexy Lady’ mam mam I’m going to miss it.”

The picture reveals JYP Entertainment labelmates Wooyoung and Suzy posing for a friendly shot. Suzy especially attracted attention with her trademark long hair and neat bangs.

On the same day, Wooyoung also thanked Suzy for her visit by tweeting, “Suzy~ kind hoobae, keke, thanks for today’s support. And let’s just say that our Jia unni sent [her regards].”

Netizens commented, “Wooyoung and Suzy are really friendly,” “They look like siblings,” and “They unexpectedly look alike.”

Wooyoung finished the promotions for “Sexy Lady” on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ on August 5th.

Sunmi joins ‘JYP girls’ at the ‘JYP Nation’ concert after party

A picture of Wonder Girls and miss A together was recently revealed.

On August 4th, Wonder Girls’ Lim shared the above photo as she tweeted,”JYP Girls ~~~~.”  The revealed picture seemed to be from the after party celebrating the successful finish of  the ‘JYP Nation‘ concert.

In addition to the Wonder Girls, miss A, 2AM‘s Jo Kwon, 2PM‘s Wooyoung, even Sunmi posed for the picture, next to Yenny.

After viewing the picture, the netizens seemed to be happy to see Sunmi with the JYP family and commented, “Now, the Wonder Girls are a 6 member system“, “Sunmi it’s nice to see you“, and “Jo Kwon and Wooyoung are JYP girls too?”

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment‘s singers successfully held their ‘JYP Nation’ concert on the 4th and will continue their tour on the coming 18th and 19th in Japan.

2PM’s Taecyeon, Junsu, and miss A’s Suzy donate 800kg of rice thanks to their fans

2PM‘s Taecyeon, Junsu, and miss A‘s Suzy donated the rice they received from their fans to help those in need.

Fans donated the rice at the ‘JYP Nation‘ concert held on August 4th. Suzy’s fan site sent 100kg (220.5lbs), Junsu’s fan site ‘Daegu-tang’ sent 200kg (441lbs), and Taecyeon’s fan site ‘Ohk Taec Yeon Hap’ sent 500kg (1102lbs) of rice. A total of 800kg (1764lbs) of rice was donated to various charities of the idols choosing.

Taecyeon took a picture in front of the rice donations and thanked his fans by tweeting, “Thank you for the wreaths and rice~ Fighting!!!”

Junsu also thanked his fans by sharing a picture of the donations as he tweeted, “Working hard at rehearsals! Thank you for the wreaths and rice!^^”

2PM’s Wooyoung records “Be With You” with director Junho

A behind-the-scenes clip of 2PM‘s Wooyoung recording his track “Be With You” has been released.

“Be With You”, from Wooyoung’s debut solo album ‘23, Male, Single‘, was composed and written by fellow 2PM member Junho. Junho directed Wooyoung during the recording process of the song, and he definitely shows a more serious, professional side to himself in this new clip.

2PM’s Wooyoung records “DJ Got Me Goin’ Crazy” with Junsu

A behind-the-scenes clip of 2PM‘s Wooyoung recording his track “DJ Got Me Goin’ Crazy” has been released.

2PM’s Taecyeon needs someone to protect him in horror maze?

2PM‘s Taecyeon revealed his unexpected fear of horror mazes.

On the 14th, Taecyeon tweeted, “Everland Horror maze this year again! I’m so scared of failing. Isn’t there anyone who will go with me and protect me?”

The picture he shared showed Taecyeon posing next to an advertisement of an upcoming horror maze in an amusement park. Even though he was only standing next to the poster, Taecyeon still looked nervous.
